Habibi

This music video was shot in Casablanca, Morocco and the holy city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. My main goal was to create a simple, positive story where a father helps his son  remind the masses of the beloved Prophet. We decided to step away from my usual moody visuals and create a vibrant look to mirror the theme of the song. We also decided to go with spherical lenses -- GULP -- and I have a lot of opinions about them. We jam-packed the production days with lots of scenes since we needed to cover 4 minutes worth of footage. I am extremely happy with how the edit turned out. It flows really well and feels a lot shorter.
